St. Albans is a commuter city about 20 miles North of London and is home to nearly 150,000 people. The city is a Roman settlement and still has relics of the past inhabitants. Saint Albans is home to a large cathedral and is close to the burial ground of Saint Alban. The city is a popular shopping area and has excellent road and rail connections to the rest of the UK.
